Looking to get a jump start on your garden? Garden Starter Packs are a perfect way to get it going and to have fresh veggies all summer long. It starts off with broccoli, cauliflower, and lettuce every three weeks. Closer to summer, you get a bundle of tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash, and herbs that will produce all summer long.
C.S.A.
CSAs is a unique way to support your local farmers and ensure that you have a supply of fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the summer. CSAs are a seasonal, weekly produce box subscription that is paid for at the beginning of the season. We currently have CSA pickups at the farm on Saturday, Seaside Farmer’s Market on Wednesdays, and Thursdays at the Astoria Uppertown Market during the summer.
Pruning and Grafting Workshops
This year we are offering a pruning workshop right here in our orchard in Svensen. This class will offer hands-on training of how to properly prune your berry bushes, fruit trees, and grape vines in the early Spring to keep healthier plants and increase yield. We are also offering grafting workshops in April, where you will learn how to graft your own apple trees, and go home with five that you grafted yourself!
Join us for a delightful evening with fresh foods, skilled chefs, talented musicians and a beautiful setting
We like to showcase our produce and flowers with occasional farm to table dinners as the summer progresses. We bring in local chefs who cook a variety of different cuisines to create a remarkable dinner experience unlike anything else around.

About the Owner
Scott Thompson always wanted to farm
According to legend, Scott emerged from a potato field and immediately started digging spuds. According to reality, he was a science teacher before deciding he wanted to be a farmer when he grew up. Now he spends his days running the farm, tending to the fields, and working with local businesses to create a farm to table economy in Clatsop County.
